This is the foundational Music Together^® class, one that a child can attend from birth to age five through 12 song collections. Each of these collections contain original and traditional songs from around the world. This unique musical experience of languages, tonalties and rhythms, sets Music Together apart. The class follows the recommendations of child development researchers-grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones, older children learn by leading younger ones and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. The relaxed, no pressure environment lets all kids learn at their own pace. Each week, a trained Music Together teacher leads the class in singing, dancing and playing songs from our award winning music. The illustrated songbook and other print and online resources will help you continue the music-making fun at home and nurture your child's musical growth. No previous experience is necessary!

Rhythm Kids^® follows through on the Music Together® vision to help children complete the pathway of early childhood music development from birth through age 8. In addition to the weekly Rhythm Kids^® class experience, children ages 4.5-8 and their grownups can enjoy drumming play and practice sessions at home with the help of online play-along videos featuring Rhythm Kids^® creator Tom Foote.

• Access online video tutorials and play-alongs

• Learn, create, discover and explore music, movement and drumming

• Enjoy age-appropriate ways to play rhythm instruments (shakers, tambourines, etc.)

• Experience drumming, song, and dance from around the world (Mali, Puerto Rico, Turkey, etc.)

• Find new ways to connect mind, body, and voice through rhythm

This is an instrument-learning class, so your child will need a djembe drum. Unlike the Mixed Ages class, younger siblings are not inivited to attend this "Big Kid" class.
